Held on 1 November, the singles events attracted 14 boys and 9 girls from all areas of Norfolk. The boys were placed in 3 groups, with Charlie Wakefield, Henry Fox and Liam Bond all worthy runners-up. In an excellent semi-final, George Underwood was taken all the way by Norfolk Juniors newcomer, Joe Rolfe, in an excellent semi-final, but came out winner at 21-18,11-21,21-17. The final between George and Callum Cox was a hard fought game with Callum taking the title 21-12, 21-16. In the Girls Singles, there were just 2 groups. Tomasin Ainsworth-Harrold won her group but found Abi Davis a very tough competitor in the first of the semi-finals only just winning 21-13,20-21,21-19. In the second semi-final, Jess Alder also had a hard match against Caitlin Parfitt. What Caitlin lacked in size she made up for in her enthusiasm and speed around the court. Rachel Copely and Abi Davis won the Girls title and Dowham Juniors Charlie Wakefield with Joe Rolfe narrowly defeated Callum Cox and George Underwood to take the Boys title. The mixed event produced one of the best finals of the day. George Underwood with Abi Davis and Callum Cox with Rachel Copley played really well and and gave a fine display of mixed doubles tactics.
