Junior Club friendly match.

37 keen junior players aged between 9 and 17 took part in a friendly match between Hethersett Juniors and Tasburgh Juniors on Saturday 22nd April at Hethersett Academy. Hethersett and Tasburgh coaches worked together to stage this event between the two clubs. 

A total of 86 games were played over 4 hours, with 38 of those by the 5 youngest players in their own mini friendly competition. The remaining 32 players played 32 ten minute games of doubles and 16 ten minute games of singles over 4 hours at Hethersett Academy. Going into the final round of singles the score couldn’t have been closer at 22 all. After the last thrilling 10 minute round of 4 games the final result was amazingly a tie at 24 all! A great outcome for a friendly match where many of the participants had never played in a match before. There were big smiles all round at the end of the match.
