Fundraising badminton tournament

There is a fundraising badminton tournament on 8th March at Stalham Sports Centre. Run by Sarah Moody and Tim Adamson who represent the "Addenbrookes Transplant Games team" (where they both received kidney transplants a number of years ago), the tournament is in aid of raising awareness of organ donation and any proceeds will enable the team to compete at the annual British Transplant Games - a national sporting event which enables transplant recipients to compete in their chosen sports against other transplant units around the UK. Not only is this tournament a chance for people who have been given a second chance to get involved in sport but it also plays a high profile role in showing how successful our NHS Organ Transplantation programme can be when people sign up to the Organ Donor Register.

If you're interested in having a few games of badminton on a Sunday as part of a friendly event, please complete the attached form and email it to the address shown on the form. Alternatively, please pass this onto anybody else that you know who may be interested.

Even if you can't make it then please consider registering to be an organ donor at the NHS website: www.organdonation.nhs.uk/how_to_become_a_donor/index.asp
